100 years ASV Tramin

In two respects the current calendar year is a special one for ASV Tramin Football: the 100th anniversary and the 50th anniversary of the main sponsor Roner are celebrated. It was Easter Monday, April 8, 1923, when SC Tramin was raised from its cradle. Today, a century later, this soccer club is one of the most important institutions in the village and one of the leading soccer clubs in the province. From the first team to the soccer school, the club counts more than 200 active players who come together all year round at the sports field to pursue their favorite sport.

When ASV Tramin celebrated its 50th anniversary in 1973, not only was a round club anniversary celebrated, but at the same time another important milestone was reached: In this year, the first sponsorship contract was signed with the then managing directors of the Roner Distilleries, the brothers Andreas and Günther Roner. In the decades that followed, the soccer club went through thick and thin with the main sponsor and always remained loyal to it, so the partnership still exists today. This partnership, which is unique in the South Tyrolean sports world and probably beyond, has enabled the club to grow steadily and bring the joy of soccer to countless Traminers. On the occasion of the two anniversaries, ASV Tramin Football hosts a large anniversary celebration on Saturday, May 6, 2023 from 7 pm at the headquarters of the Roner Distilleries, to which the entire village population is cordially invited.
