1st Lake Caldaro-Run
Starting from Tramin to the warmest bathing lake of the Alps.
In total the course is 15 km long.
The new Kaltererseelauf counts to the overall ranking of the Top7-running series.
1st Lake Caldaro Run
For 15 editions, the Under Armour Kalterer See Half Marathon was a magnet for numerous runners from home and abroad. Now the OC team has decided to offer something new and replaced the event with a new event. The biggest change compared to the Under Armour Kalterer See Half Marathon will be the course. Because the start will no longer be directly at the warmest bathing lake of the Alps, but at the town hall square in Tramin.
The new race format
Starting from Tramin, the race will head north, where a little later the Kalterer See loop will be run clockwise, i.e. in the opposite direction compared to previous years. For the finish it goes back to Tramin to the town hall square. In total, the route is thus 15 kilometers long. Like the Kalterer See half marathon in the past, the new Kalterer See run also counts towards the overall ranking of the Top7 running series.
The winners will be awarded at the fairground in Tramin. Since we are partners of the 1st Kaltererseeelauf, there will be a non-alcoholic Gin & Tonic as a gift for each winner.
After the finish in Tramin, the award ceremony and the closing party will be moved to the nearby festival square in Tramin, where finally also the prize distribution of the lottery will take place.
Gewürztraminer run for all hobby athletes
In addition to the main race, there will also be a "Just-For-Fun" race, the so-called Gewürztraminer race. The four-kilometer course of this popular run is completed without timekeeping and, unlike the Kalterersee Run, can also be completed without presenting a sports doctor's certificate. Here, too, the start and finish are in the town hall square in Tramin.
